Yesterday I attended a local MPS Awareness event and ended up buying lots of toys, foam alphabets, kufis and a HUGE white skirt. All proceeds were donated to a local charity that helps families dealing with MPS. It was the first time I had ever heard of MPS so It was very educational and heartbreaking at the same time. I met a local family with two daughters diagnosed and they left me amazed. SubhanaAllah. It helped me put things in to perspective and I added them to my list of du'as as well as organizations to keep my eyes on.
